Micron's brand new, Hydroformed Moto GP-style silencer is a total one-piece item formed into shape by Micron's high-pressure fluid Hydroforming process that is currently used on the company's Serpent race systems.
The sculptured Moto GP-style outlet silencers fit directly on to the under-body of the original item and are made from lightweight satin stainless steel. Bike performance is boosted through an overall weight saving of 20% allied to an increase in engine power output. But the Hydroformed silencers also enhance the aesthetics of your bike.
The silencers are available initially as race-legal items, conforming to FIM noise regulations and retailing for just £225.00 including VAT. Micron plans to launch a road-legal version shortly.
Micron is the only motorcycle exhaust manufacturer to Hydroform silencers fully and was the first company to introduce Hydroform pipework almost six years ago.
