Compare performance exhausts for your bike

The city of Denver in Colorado USA has introduced a new law which makes it illegal to fit aftermarket exhausts to your motorcycle. Only stock exhausts are legal.

The city claim to have introduced the law to reduce the sound and disruption caused by loud aftermarket exhausts. But, and its a big but, only motorcyclists have been targeted - the law does not apply to cars?

While we won't dispute changing the sound of your exhaust is a major motivator in upgrading your pipes its not the be all and end all. There are a significant number of motorcyclists who opt for an aftermarket exhaust, not for performance increases, but simply because it is a cheaper option that fitting an OEM exhaust.

Thankfully the Amercian Motorcycle Association are on the case pushing to have the law recalled. Lets hope they succeed!
