The tubing on these exhausts are hydroformed using water at high pressure to achieve a flow to the pipework that maximise the exhaust's efficiency. Micron are the only other manufacturer to use such technology on their pipework.
The performance gains generated by fitting an Akrapovic Racing system are among the highest a rider can expect but these come at a relatively high price. Typically the preserve of racers, road riders wanting extreme performance from their superbike are stumping up the cash for the full Racing system in their quest for maximum power gains.
Available with either Carbon-Fibre or Titanium sleeves the silencers are oval in shape to afford maximum ground clearance. A road legal version is also available to bring the exhaust within regulatory noise levels. |
